Thank you for the opportunity to speak. My name is Josephine Tyne and I represent Concepts of Truth, NGO. Concepts of Truth. NGO’s 24/7 international helpline has received approximately 20,000 calls from every state in the US and other parts of the world. Every day our staff hears the voices of women who are descending into mental illness, including depression, self-harm and sometimes suicide, becoming candidates for homelessness. And all this because no one ever told them about the emotional and physical consequences of their abortion. No one gave them a voice to acknowledge the trauma and the guilt of terminating their pregnancy. . .”
